Gilberto Pereira

Gilberto Pereira (1932 – ) was born in Rio de Janeiro. He is a painter, draftsman, engraver, and tapestry manufacturer, who also dedicated His life to cinema, music, journalism, and advertisement. He held exhibitions in Brazil and Europe, where he is represented in many collections, as also in the USA and Latin America. He was awarded several prizes in Brazil. His collaboration with Portalegre’s Tapestry began in 1977.
